Going to Bath for a superb stay
We were recently looking for something to do on an extremely rare weekend of no commitments. Working so hard it is not the usual thing to consider how we could actually enjoy ourselves! It's sad when work takes over your life to such an extent that you forget how to enjoy yourself. A quick decision was needed before procrastination wiped out what little time a weekend was!
My husband and I gathered around the computer and actually considered what to do instead of fretting over our own website. We hadn't been to Bath for a number of years and nor had we spent any money on ourselves save for the annual hike abroad.
Bath seemed an obvious choice because there was so much to see and do there, and most importantly, the city seemed bent on making sure we enjoyed ourselves - something which (shamefully) we would need help with.
Finding a hotel was easy - there was a new site like the one in Helena showing hotels. It was suitably called Hotels in Bath and it featured a dozen or so establishments ready to accept guests on a quick phone call. We soon had our hotel booked and were ready to take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Baths, and then pig ourselves on cakes in the Pump Room which stands over it.
On we went to the Thermae Spa bath where we could actually enjoy massage for leisure purposes instead of healing - what a pleasant change! After much shopping and some fantastic meals we could say we achieved our purpose - a nice weekend away.
